Talab privacy and optional analytics

Salary calculations stay in the browser
Talab calculates using JavaScript on your device. It does not send salary inputs, personal deductions or calculation results to a Talab backend or save them in a salary database. A fresh calculator page starts from defaults or the selected public example; your browser may restore its own back/forward page state. Changing the language on the web opens a fresh calculator page so that the advertising context cannot carry over between languages.
Worked-example links carry only an identifier for a fixed public demonstration. They do not contain your entered salary. Do not put personal or salary information into URL parameters or fragments yourself.
Hosting and technical requests
Loading a page sends normal connection information, such as IP address and requested URL, to the hosting service. Talab is served from a Hetzner VPS. Technical access or error logs may contain connection details. This page does not claim a log-retention period that has not been verified.
There is no account or application contact form. External reference links lead to other websites with their own privacy practices.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only on the configured production HTTPS origin after you choose Allow analytics. Refusing analytics leaves the calculator and guides available. Talab stores only your analytics choice and its expiry in local browser storage for up to 180 days; it does not put salary inputs there.
After consent, Talab records canonical page views and one calculator_use event per page when you perform a valid calculation interaction. The event contains no salary, result, scheme, relief selection, user ID, query string or fragment. Google may process standard connection/device information and analytics cookies. Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled in this integration.
Use Analytics settings in the footer to refuse further collection. Talab disables its analytics collection and expires this site's Google Analytics cookies; this does not undo data already processed by Google. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page.
Advertising is a separate service
AdSense is restricted to English calculator pages. Nepali pages and the support pages do not load the Google advertising script. An empty or unavailable manual ad placement is hidden. No salary inputs are passed by Talab to advertising code.
When enabled, Google advertising can process device and connection information and use cookies under Google's policies. Advertising consent is managed separately from the analytics choice. This website's analytics buttons are not a Google-certified advertising consent platform. Google approval, applicable consent configuration and advertiser availability determine whether ads can be shown.
Feedback and privacy requests
If you email mukalkee@outlook.com, your message and sender details are processed to address the request, including by the email provider. Send only what is necessary. Depending on applicable law, you may request information about your data, correction, deletion or restriction and withdraw consent. Use the project email to make a request or raise a concern with your relevant data-protection authority.
